Since she left her studio in the 7th arrondissement, Audrey (aka Ripley, for those who have already had a taste of her drawings) has been doing bigger and better things as part of a group. The Exoskull Tatoo team -Ripley, Cédric and Paco – have joined up with R*A*F, the pioneering enthusiast of subculture, to add plenty of strings to their bows. These Lucky Bastards have taken over an old gym and set themselves up in underground art in a studio measuring 130 square meters. This is now the realm of graphic art, photography and illustration on any media: the body, that we knew, but also walls with exhibitions of the jewels of the art and tattoo scene invited as resident artists, like Lea Nahon or Jeff from la Boucherie Moderne. There is a similarly sharp selection of gear with t-shirts, clothes and shoes both in mini-series and exclusive deals from the west coast. Sneaker collectors can hunt around the original vintage stock while feeding their minds with the book and rare film department. I tell you, they’re lucky.
